Emerging Pathogens are EPA’s response to a rapidly growing global pandemic. List N is the initial way to communicate which disinfectants are effective against similar organisms. Once EPA testing takes place, they’re able to truly identify which disinfectants are effective against pathogens.
EPA expects all products on List N to be effective against SARS-CoV-2 when used according to label directions. List N is not a guarantee that a product kills COVID-19. When a product has the SARS-CoV-2 claim on the master label, that means it’s guaranteed to kill the virus when used according to label directions.
The following list of Canberra products currently have SARS-CoV-2 kill claims on the master label which can be found on EPA’s website:
- Husky 319 Everyday Non-Acid E/N/A Disinfectant Cleaner (EPA Reg. #6836-152)
- Husky 814 Q/T Tuberculocidal Spray Disinfectant Cleaner (EPA Reg. #1839-83)
